Unit 7

A concerto is when the orchestra accompanies a solo instrument.  Do you think the orchestra music complimented the piano solo well? Why or why not? 

Try playing around with the C blues scale as demonstrated in the video.  Come up with a melody using that scale and play it for me at lessons next week.

Can you sing or hum along while you play this from your book?

Would you feel confident to just walk up to a piano and play a song?  Let's find a song you could memorize and do that sometime.
